For Farrow & Ball there is a clear trend: back to nature in colours and patterns, and fresh green and blue tones dominate wallpapers, walls and furniture.
And those who previously thought that the combination of green and blue was an absolute no-go will be disabused: together with decorations and furniture made of rattan light wood or white, the result is a summery, light country house style.
Christroses very big
The cover picture shows the new wallpaper collection of Farrow & Bell “Helleborus BP5606” combined with a coloured skirting in “Pitch Blue No.220”. Helleborus is, by the way, the Latin name for Christmas roses. The large-format pattern was first drawn by hand with a pipette. So each of the huge flowers looks as if it has grown naturally.
Blue, blue, blue, is all I love….
The following picture shows a blue-green combination in reverse order, but the effect is at least as calming: Above the wall was painted with Farrow & Ball “Pitch Blue No.220”, below in “Calke Green No.34”.
Kitchen dream in blue and white
Combine the modern egg shell colour “Wimborne White No.239” with cupboards in dark blue “Stiffkey Blue No.281” and a worktop in natural “London Stone No.6”.
